Arup Dasgupta, is a B.Tech in Radio-Physics and Electronics from University of Calcutta, and has over 21 years of rich experience and valuable contribution in the field of Information Technology.

Mr. Dasgupta’s vast experience has aggregated from working in diverse platforms for renowned companies like PSI, Price-Waterhouse World firm, USA, NIIT and Techna Digital Services prior to starting of Metalogic Systems. While in Techna Digital Services, as Director - Operations (Global), he was one of the pioneers in the development of the language Transformation and Software Design Recovery Methodology.

In 1997, Mr. Dasgupta started his own Company, Metalogic Systems Pvt. Ltd., with a vision of meeting customer needs worldwide through a very strong technology driven organization. Metalogic Systems is a software services organization providing technology solutions for business, to its customers worldwide.

The solutions offered by Metalogic Systems are centered on its core capabilities in software lifecycle automation. The Company has nurtured and developed the unique technology in terms of tools, processes and methodology, which serves as a strong foundation for a high level of automation in all its services. The drive for innovation in technology along with strong process orientation, workplace discipline, and academia linkages has shaped Metalogic into a world-class organization.

Metalogic Systems has formed strategic alliances with leading service providers and systems integrators like, Satyam Computer Systems Limited, HCL Technologies Limited, and HP Limited, Oracle Corporation for Oracle Applications and Microsoft Corporation for Microsoft Dynamics NAV to provide world-class solutions and services to all its customers across the globe.

New service lines were successively added to cater to requirements from customers. The latest addition to the service portfolio is implementation of integrated business applications using leading Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) products.

Mr. Dasgupta feels very strongly about entrepreneurship and is a regular speaker in several renowned academic institutions throughout the country. He is a TiE Charter Member and also has been the recipient of the Annual TiEger Award for Entrepreneurship in IT instituted by TiE Kolkata in 2006. Mr. Dasgupta is also the Chairman of the Emerging Companies Forum, in the Eastern Regional Council of Nasscom.
