Mr. Gautam Nagwekar has been in Mahindras for the past 7 years. He joined Auto Sector in 2001 as Vice President – Sales & Servicve. He was part of a team that launched Scorpio in 2002.

In 2003, he moved to FES as Executive Vice-President – Marketing, Sales & Service. In 2005, he was given additional responsibility for managing the Engine Application Business.

Effective 1st November, 2006, he has been elevated as Chief Operating Officer of FES with additional responsibilities of all Operations, comprising of Manufacturing & Supply Chain Management, Quality Assurance & Manufacturing Engineering, Component Development & Materials Management.

Mr. Nagwekar is on the Board of Mahindra Gujarat Tractor Limited (a subsidiary of M&M) and is responsible for all the operations of the company.

Effective April 2007, Mr. Nagwekar has been appointed on the board of Mahindra ShubhLabh Services Ltd. and is responsible for all the operations of the company.

He is also on the Board of Mahindra (China) Tractor Co.Ltd. as well as Mahindra First Choice Services Ltd.

Mr. Nagwekar is a member of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Council and the newly constituted Sustainability Council.

Prior to joining M&M, Mr. Nagwekar has had a long career in Sales & Marketing, having worked with companies like Johnson & Johnson, Unichem Laboratories, Marico Industries, United Phosperous, Aristocrat Marketing Ltd. He has handled a diverse range of products, ranging from pharmaceuticals, diagnostic products, personal products, edible oils, processed foods, agro-chemicals and pesticides.

He enjoys reading, traveling, watching movies and playing squash & golf.
