| Mahua Roy Chowdhury is Managing Partner of Solomon & Roy Intellectual Property Services. Mumbai. Mahua is a qualified advocate and a registered Patent Attorney with more than 14 years of experience. Mahua holds a LLM in Intellectual Property Law from Franklin Pierce (now Pierce Law), USA. Prior to diversifying to IP, she has practiced at the Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court of India and has initiated several landmark Public Interest Litigations against Indian Army, Delhi Police and Delhi Municipal Commission. She also represented the Faculty of Law, Delhi University before the High Court and District Courts. |

| Other than Patents she has hands-on experience in Anti-counterfeiting actions and has coordinated more than 400 IP enforcement raids all over India with the help of Police and Investigation agencies. |

| Mahua has been a speaker/moderator at several conferences and workshops and conducted lectures related to intellectual property including at International Trademark Association (INTA), Law Faculty Delhi University, IIT Mumbai, Faculty of Management Studies IP University and several premier institutes. She also conducts in-house IP orientation workshops for management and Scientists of our various Clients. |
